Industrial Ethernet Network Training
Our modern training facility has the latest industrial Ethernet hardware and software
for the most complete,real-world learning experience. Our instructor is a Network
Professional and experienced controls & security engineer.
Ethernet in Industry
The use of Ethernet in industrial and plant floor environments
has grown dramatically in the last few years. Industrial users face a wide range
of options when designing and implementing plant-level Ethernet networks. Profitek training courses are intended to help industrial engineers and plant personnel
design, implement and maintain their Ethernet networks with an emphasis on the unique
needs and challenges faced by industrial networks.
What is the purpose of the Training Courses?
The purpose of the training courses is to educate our clients on the benefits of
deploying Industrial Ethernet in a variety of solutions for applications. Understanding
Industrial Ethernet technology can become a confusing process.
What is taught on the Training Course?
Students are taught the basics of Industrial Ethernet from the physical and data
link layers up through the network, transport and application layers. All material
comes from the IEEE Std. 802.3.
Instructors
Profitek believes that learning about Ethernet technology is only helpful when
coupled with knowledge of how the technology can fit into the unique requirements
of the industrial user. Keeping this need in mind, our classes are taught by an
engineer who has experience in designing and implementing plant control systems
as well presenting TCP/IP and Security training. Don't settle for training geared
for front office IT personnel!
